Indian concept of nation is diffrent from the West
New Delhi. India Policy Foundation on May 21 organised a seminar on ‘Dr Hedgewar and Indian Nationalism’ at Deen Dayal Research Institute on the occasion of the 75th death anniversery of Dr Hedgewar. In this seminar, the concept of nations was outlined by all the speaker in view of the contribution of Dr Hedgewar for it.
The main speaker on the occasion was Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh joint general secretry Dr Krishna Gopal. He said that the concept of nation of India and the west is entirely different. There are certain factors that makes a nation in the west that might be state, religion, economic issues, tribal identity or certain other things but for India the concept of nation is to assimilate everyone.
He said that the concept of Rashtra in India was not born in 1947 but it was developed through the ages. The concept of Rashtra is to assimilates everyone. From Baudha to Kabir to Shankar Deb kept this concept of nation alive and going. There is a need to understand that the concept of nation for India is not a political concept rather spritual.
Dr. Krishna Gopal said that Dr Hedgewar has started nothing new; he just continued age-old Indian tradition. Vivekanand and Arbindo was also doing the same. Going by that definition the concept of Hindu Rashtra is the basic concept of Nation in the country.
Initiating the debate on Hedgewar, Honorary Director of the IPF, Prof Rakesh Sinha said that modern historian especially Left and Nehruvian historian have done a great damage to the history. Role of the RSS in the national movement is completely ignored and deliberately swept under the carpet. He talked about 109 such files in which lots of information about the RSS was available being missing or destroyed. They could have told the real role of the RSS. This is a criminal injustice not only to the nation but also t the RSS.
Prof. Sinha said that history writing or social science is faulty. With certain fact in your hand you interpret it and with those facts and interpretation, perception is made but Left historians have done it other way round and they made perception first and then interpreted accordingly and while doing so facts are suppressed.
Dr Saradindu Mukherjee while presenting the bird eye view on the topic informed the gathering that corporate history writing has done a great damage to the nation and the history itself. Professor Kapil Kapoor, chairman of the IPF, presided over the function. He thanked the audience who enthusiastically participated in it.

CHAPRA/PATNA June 25 : At least four passengers were killed and 23 others injured, 13 of them seriously, when 12 coaches of the Dibrugarh-bound Rajdhani Express derailed near Chapra in Bihar’s Saran district on Wednesday, with Union home minister Rajnath Singh saying it was too early to blame the Maoists for the incident.
18 wagons of a goods train also derailed due to a blast in east Champaran district with the SP Vinay Kumar not ruling out the involvement of Maoists. Chief public relations officer of East Central Railway (ECR) Arvind Kumar Rajak said while three passengers were killed in the Rajdhani derailment, another succumbed to injuries in a hospital,
Seven coaches-B-5 to B-10 and the power car of the Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani derailed at the Golden Ganj station, about 75km from Patna, while five coaches, B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4 and the pantry car overturned at around 2:11am. Govt should emulate Shivaji’s governance: Dr. Bhagwat
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday hoped that Narendra Modi led NDA Government at the centre would work on the footsteps of Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. While welcoming changes in political situation in the country, he urged common man to join hands in this change for the progress of the country. The country can not be developed by the politicians only, but all 125 crore citizens should give wholehearted support to them. He urged for complete eradication of casteism, corruption and untouchability from society and polity.
Dr Bhagwat was addressing a gathering at sprawling Reshimbag ground on the occasion of conclusion of third year Sangh Shiksha Varga. Sri Sri Ravishankar, founder of Art of Living was present as chief guest. This was first speech of RSS chief after Modi Government took over at Centre.
Comparing administration during Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj era with present day situation, Dr. Bhagwat said that the people were happy in the rule of Shivaji Maharaj and similar joy is visible on the face of common man. Shivaji Maharaj had given self-esteem and established corruption free, exploitation free, administration for the citizens. Dr. Bhagwat said that the rulers of independent India had failed to give positive directions to the country.
RSS Chief said, people are happy due to recent change in political situation of the country and after a deep though they brought this change.
The RSS chief denied any role of RSS in Government formation and clarified that RSS is not working as Remote Control of new Government. The RSS has worked as per the guidelines of Election Commission of India and urged people to enrol themselves for voting and vote for right people and issues. He expected that the policies of new Government would increase self-esteem and worked for pride of constitution and maintain its dignity. The present Government has completed only 10-15 days in the centre but initiated some positive steps. The people would have to keep patience for changes in the policies and system, he advised. The 125 crore people of the country should give their contribution for change in the system. The Government should work to become world guru in every sector.
Nearly 716 RSS volunteers took part in the camp, which includes 144 Swayamsevaks from Central India comprising Malwa Prant. The highest number of participants – 144 – was from Central India comprising Malwa, Madhya Bharat, Mahakaushal and Chattisgarh. Among those attending are 460 professionals, including six doctors, 14 engineers, a chartered accountant and 14 lawyers, while 91 are self-employed. There were as many as 147 teachers, five journalists, 49 agriculturists and 153 students. Nagpur Mahanagar Sarsanghchalak Dr. Dilip Gupta, and Camp Chief Vishwanatlal Nigam were present on the dais. Dr. Prakash Shastri gave introduction of guests.

कार्यकर्ता बनने का कौशल संघ से सीखें : महाश्रमण जी
नई दिल्ली. तेरापंथ समाज के जैन मुनि आचार्य श्री महाश्रमण जी ने राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के अनुशासन और सुव्यवस्था जैसे अच्छे गुणों की सराहना की और पंथ के कार्यकर्ताओं से फूहड़ता के बजाय कुशलतापूर्वक कार्य करने के लिये इन गुणों को सीखने का आह्वान किया. दिल्ली के संघ कार्यालय केशव कुंज में 7 जून को संघ के स्वयंसेवकों और तेरापंथ के कार्यकर्ताओं की संयुक्त सभा को संबोधित करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “ राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ का तेरापंथ से पुराना सम्बन्ध है, पंथ के आचार्य श्री महासिद्ध जी और स्वर्गीय सुदर्शन जी के बीच काफी सम्पर्क और संवाद था. अभी भी हमारे पास श्री मोहन जी भागवत कई बार आ गये हैं. कार्यकर्ता भी यदा-कदा आते रहते हैं, तो सम्पर्क बना रहता है.”
आचार्य श्री महाश्रमण जी के शुभागमन पर संघ के स्वयंसेवकों ने उनका हार्दिक अभिनन्दन किया. आचार्य श्री महाश्रमण जी ने केशव कुञ्ज में कार्यकर्ता स्वयंसेवकों का मार्गदर्शन किया .
आचार्य श्री ने कार्यकर्ताओं के लिये सात सूत्र बताये . उन्होंने कहा कि कार्यकर्ता में सबसे पहला गुण सेवा भाव का होना चाहिये. कार्य तो हर कोई करता है, भोजन करना, स्नान करना आदि सब अपने लोग अपने काम करते है, उन्होंने पूछा, लेकिन क्या ये सब कार्यकर्ता हो गये ? दूसरों के लिये निष्ठापूर्वक स्वयं अपनी सुविधा को छोड़कर भी काम करने की भावना कार्यकर्ता में होनी चाहिये.
सहिष्णुता को दूसरा अनिवार्य गुण बताते हुए जैन मुनि ने कहा कि कार्यकर्ता में कठिनाइयों को झेलने की क्षमता होनी चाहिये. एक कार्यशील व्यक्ति के सामने विपरीत परस्थितियां आ सकतीं हैं . कहीं यात्रा में ऊबड़-खाबड़ जमीन पर सोना पड़ सकता है, सादा भोजन भी करना पड़ सकता है . इसी प्रकार, कहीं पर अच्छा भोजन, कहीं सम्मान तो कहीं असम्मान मिल सकता है. कई बार लोग जानकारी न होने के कारण अपनी अवधारणा से अलग बात करने लग जाते हैं . लेकिन कार्यकर्ता को हर स्थिति में शांत रहना चाहिये . गुस्सा करने की वजह हर परिस्थिति को सहन करना ही कार्यकर्ता का धर्म है .
कार्यकर्ता में मैत्री भावना को उन्होंने तीसरा गुण बताया. कार्यकर्ता को ज्यादा गुस्सा नहीं करना चाहिये . गुस्सा करना तो हमारी कमजोरी है . हमें कोई गधा कह दे, कुछ भी कह दे लेकिन शांत रहकर उसकी बात सुननी चाहिये . आवेश में आये बिना कार्यकर्ता को अपनी बात कहनी चाहिये . झुकने की जरूरत नहीं लेकिन मौके पर अपनी बात जरूर कह देनी चाहिये .
चौथा सूत्र है कार्यकर्ता में ईमानदारी होनी चाहिये . बात का सच्चा होना चाहिये और पैसे का मामला हो, समाज से चंदा-अनुदान मिलता है, तो उसमें कोई गड़बड़ी न हो जाये, इसके लिये आर्थिक शुचिता होनी चाहिये . समाज ने जो विश्वास के रूप में दिया है तो हम भी समाज के विश्वास की सुरक्षा करें और धन के साथ नैतिक मूल्यों को जोड़े रखें . नैतिकता के साथ धन का ध्यान रखें .
पांचवां सूत्र है कार्यकौशल . कार्यकर्ता को अपनी कुशलता का विकास करना चाहिये कि मैं काम कितने बढि़या ढंग और कितने अच्छे ढंग से करूं .
छठा सूत्र है विवेक सम्पन्नता . कार्यकर्ता विवेकशील हो व अपने कर्तव्य के प्रति जागरूक हो . कृतघ्न और अनुशासन के बिना यह लोकतन्त्र का देवता भी विनाश और मृत्यु को प्राप्त हो जायेगा . लोकतन्त्र हो, राजतन्त्र हो या कोई भी तन्त्र हो, निष्ठा सब जगह आवश्यक होती है .
सातवां गुण अनुशासनबद्धता है . अनुशासन कार्यकर्ता के लिये अनिवार्य है. इस प्रकार, इन सात गुणों के साथ कार्यकर्ता अपने कार्य में सफल हो सकता है . कार्यकर्ता अपना ऊंचा एवं उदात्त लक्ष्य बनाये रखें .
आचार्य श्री का अभिनंदन-वंदन करते हुए उत्तर क्षेत्र संघचालक श्री बजरंग लाल गुप्त ने कहा कि उनके पदार्पण से केशव कुंज परिसर में व्याप्त कर्मऊर्जा-सामाजिक ऊर्जा में आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा का सम्पुट लगा है, जिससे संघ के कार्यकर्ताओं को काम करने की अभिनव प्रेरणा मिलेगी. साथ ही, दिशा और दृष्टि भी म लेगी. ऐसे आचार्य श्री का आना मानो दो प्रकार की धाराओं के सम्मिलन का अदभुत प्रकार का दृश्य उत्पन्न हुआ है.
