अर्ध सत्य दिखाना देश, समाज के साथ धोखा – डॉ कृष्ण गोपाल जी नई दिल्ली 9 मई. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सह सरकार्यवाह डॉ कृष्ण गोपाल जी ने कहा कि वर्तमान में पत्रकारिता का क्षेत्र सुनामी के दौर से गुजर रहा है. समाचार जगत में मान-सम्मान, चकाचौंध सबकुछ है, पर, इसमें यथार्थ और सत्यता को भी टिकाए रखना है. वर्तमान समय में समाचार को सनसनीखेज बनाने की कोशिश करते हैं, आधे सत्य पर पर्दा डालकर आधा सत्य दिखाने से द्वेष की भावना बढ़ती है, देश की छवि को नुकसान पहुंचता है, यह देश और समाज के साथ धोखा भी है. समाचार में सनसनी पैदा करना समाचार की पवित्रता के भी विपरीत है. उन्होंने कहा कि महर्षि नारद पत्रकार जगत के आदि पुरुष हैं. किसी भी लोभ-लालच से दूर, संपत्ति संचयन से दूर, निस्वार्थ भाव, हर व्यक्ति से संबंध, निरंतर भ्रमणशील, और सभी को खबर देने का कार्य करते थे. वर्तमान में आदर्श समाचार पत्रों में नारद जी के यह गुण विद्यमान होते हैं. पत्रकारिता लोभ-लालच से दूर, निस्वार्थ होनी चाहिए. सह सरकार्यवाह इंद्रप्रस्थ विश्व संवाद केंद्र दिल्ली द्वारा कांस्टीट्यूशन क्लब में नारद जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित पत्रकार सम्मान समारोह को मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित कर रहे थे. कार्यक्रम में सेंट्रल यूरोपियन न्यूज के इंडिया एडिटर शांतनु गुहा रॉय विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित थे. मुख्य अतिथि व विशिष्ट अतिथि ने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया. इस अवसर पर डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल जी ने इन्द्रप्रस्थ विश्व संवाद केंद्र के नये वेब पोर्टल “www.ivskdelhi.com” का उद्घाटन किया. कृष्ण गोपाल जी ने कहा कि समाचार जगत (मीडिया क्षेत्र) त्याग, परिश्रम, निष्ठा, समर्पण की भूमिका से खड़ा होता है. देश में अनेक महानुभावों ने अपने योगदान, बलिदान से समाचार जगत को यशस्वी बनाया है. कीर्तिमान स्थापित किए हैं. देश में समाचार पत्रों की महान परंपरा रही है. पराधीनता के दौर में भी सत्य के अन्वेषण के लिये अनके लोग खड़े हुए. सत्य को जनता के समक्ष लाने, सत्य के अन्वेषण को सर्वोच्च स्थान प्रदान किया. उन्होंने अंग्रेजों की लूट का देशहित में निर्भीकता के साथ खुलासा किया. मदन मोहन मालवीय, गणेश शंकर विद्यार्थी, सरीखे अन्य व्यक्तित्व देश हित में सोचते थे, उनमें सत्य के अन्वेषण का जुनून था, परिश्रम और बलिदान के लिये हमेशा तैयार रहते थे. अंग्रेज सरकार अत्याचार करती थी, लेकिन समाचार जगत का स्तंभ प्रामाणिकता के साथ देश में खड़ा रहा. सूची में एक नाम नहीं, कई बड़े नाम शामिल हैं, समाचार पत्रों के संपादकों ने जेल की यात्रा की, अत्याचार सहन किए. देश हित में, सत्य के अन्वेषण के लिये कुछ लोगों ने अपनी संपत्ति बेचकर समाचार पत्र निकाला, कमाई करने या संपत्ति बनाने के लिये नहीं. डॉ कृष्ण गोपाल जी ने उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि मीडिया ने चार चर्चों पर हमले के मामलों को बढ़ा- चढ़ाकर प्रस्तुत किया, जिससे विश्व में भारत की छवि अल्पसंख्यकों के प्रति नकारात्मक रूप में सामने आई, मानों अल्पसंख्यकों के साथ बुरा हो रहा हो. मीडिया ने समाचार में आधा सत्य छिपाया, पुलिस के अनुसार इसी अवधि के दौरान 458 मंदिरों, 25 मस्जिदों पर भी हमले हुए, मीडिया को इन आंकड़ों को भी सामने रखना चाहिए था. इसी प्रकार मीडिया में महिलाओं के प्रति अत्याचारों को भी बढ़ा चढ़ाकर दिखाया जाता है, सनसनी फैलाने के लिये जाति का उल्लेख किया जाता है, मानो पूरा समाज ही बुरा हो. यूरोपीय देशों में महिलाओं के प्रति अत्याचारों का प्रतिशत हमसे काफी अधिक है, लेकिन वहां का मीडिया सनसनी नहीं फैलाता, इससे हमें सीख लेने की आवश्यकता है. उन्होंने कहा कि सकारात्मक व सत्यता पर आधारित समाचारों से समाज का विश्वास भी बढ़ता है, समाचार जगत की पवित्रता की श्रेष्ठता भी बनी रहती है. क्षेत्र की चुनौतियों के समाधान पर मिलकर कार्य करना है, साथ ही समाचार की महत्ता, सत्यता पर विवेक के साथ विचार करना है. कार्यक्रम के विशिष्ट अतिथि एवं इंडिया एडिटर सेंट्रल यूरोपियन न्यूज के शान्तनु गुहा रॉय ने कहा कि हम खबर की खोज में काफी पीछे छूट गए हैं, खबर खूंढने, तलाशने का काम कम कर दिया है. उन्होंने कहा कि मीडिया का गलत उपयोग कहीं न कहीं मालिक ही करते हैं, रिपोर्टर नहीं. हमारा मीडिया एग्रेसिव व प्रोग्रेसिव है, लेकिन हम बेलेंस क्रिएट नहीं कर पा रहे हैं. कार्यक्रम में मानुषी की संस्थापक संपादक मधु पूर्णिमा किश्वर, फोटो जर्नलिस्ट संकर्शन मलिक, टीवी रिपोर्टर यतेंद्र शर्मा, सोशल मीडिया एक्टिविस्ट प्रवीण शुक्ला को नारद सम्मान 2015 से सम्मानित किया गया. कार्यक्रम में वरिष्ठ पत्रकार प्रभु चावला, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री वाजपयी जी के मीडिया सलाहकार रहे अशोक टंडन जी, भारत के समाचार पत्रों के पंजीयक एसएम खान, आईटीएमएन के संपादक विक्रम बहल जी, आगरा विश्व विद्यालय के पूर्व कुलपति डॉ. के एन त्रिपाठी, इंद्रप्रस्थ विश्वविद्यालय की प्रो वाइस चांसलर डॉ.पुष्पा त्रिपाठी, भारत प्रकाशन के प्रबंध निदेशक श्री विजय कुमार, पाञ्चजन्य के संपादक श्री हितेश शंकर, ऑर्गनाइजकर के संपादक श्री प्रफुल्ल केतकर सहित अन्य गणमान्यजन उपस्थित थे. समारोह का संचालन श्री विवेक सिन्हा ने और धन्यवाद ज्ञापन इंद्रप्रस्थ विश्व संवाद केन्द्र के सचिव श्री वागीश ईसर ने किया. Shri Krishn Gopal ji was speaking at the Narad Jayanti celebrations organised by the Indraprastha Vishwa Samvad Kendra on Saturday. Indraprastha Vishwa Samvad Kendra celebrated the Narad Jayanti by felicitating journalists and honouring their commitment and contribution towards the betterment of the society. The felicitation ceremony was attended by around 150 people that included several Journalists. Shri Shantanu Guha Ray, India Editor of Central European News was the Special Guest at the occasion who shared the dais with Dr Krishn Gopal ji. “Devrishi Narad was away from greed, was never interested in amassing personal wealth and yet he worked tirelessly to gather news and pass it on. His only concern was welfare of everyone,” said Dr Krishn Gopal ji. He added that News & Media organisations are built on the pillars of sacrifice, dedication and commitment of Journalists. “Our country has the tradition of sacrifices being made by nationalist people whose only motive was betterment of society. Even before independence, one can read countless accounts wherein several righteous people stood up for truth, dared to speak truth and brought it in the cognizance of countrymen,” said Dr Krishn Gopal ji. He further explained that these patriotic journalists and writers exposed the loot carried by the British of our country. “They were not afraid of being sent to jail for the expose of the British raj. We can read about the commitment and dedication of great men such as Madan Mohan Malviya, Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi and Maharishi Arvind, among several others. We can easily add several other names to this list.” He added that these great men pursued their reportage and journalism even if they had to sell off their personal properties to sustain their newspapers. “They never used their newspapers as a vehicle for amassing personal wealth.” Dr Krishn Gopal ji said that at present media is going through a Tsunami like crisis. “There is a trend in present times to try and make the news sensational, show only half-truth that fosters hatred across different sections of the society. This not only creates fissures in the society but also damages the image of our country. Sensationalism is contrary to the piety of news.” Citing an example of news coverage of the theft in four churches, Dr Krishn Gopal ji said that news organisations presented a distorted and half-truth of this unfortunate incident. “According to police, around 458 temples, 25 mosques also reported cases of theft. Yet media chose to report only about the theft cases of 4 churches which was made out as a systematic attack on churches. This sent a wrong and distorted message that minorities are being systematically attacked in our country. This is completely false. Media should have reported complete facts. All attacks on any religious institution are unfortunate but to present only one side is not correct and it divides the society.” Dr Krishn Gopal ji also explained that news reports that are based on truth helps increase self-confidence of the society. Shri Shantanu Guha Ray ji was the Special Guest at the event. “The owners of Media organisations are the ones who are largely responsible for the mess that our country’s media is in today.” He added that the maddening race for TRPs has created a viscious cycle of sensationalism for our News Channels.
