Mohan Bhagwat slams central government

Mohan Bhagwat slams central government

From ANIPune, Jan 3: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has slammed the Congress led central government for allegedly linking it and other Hindu groups with rising extremism in the country.

Addressing the RSS delegates here, he said that Congress is trying to link up RSS and other Hindu organisations with extremist forces to divert public attention from scams and corruptions.

" Congress party is of the view that India like Pakistan is also a 'rogue state', as people belonging to the majority religion support extremism. I don't understand, why they are unable to realise that by saying so, they are humiliating their own countrymen and country for fulfilling their political aspirations," he added.

He urged the Hindus of India to reorganise themselves in such a manner so that they are viewed as model citizens by the Hindus settled abroad.

He said: "A Hindu can never harm any person from another religion. Even the most illiterate of Hindus knows this, because it is ingrained in his/her culture. Unfortunately, we have to keep reminding this, off late, because of the selfish strategies of leaders from our own country to paint the Hindus in a bad picture in an attempt to stick to power."

"Hindu and terrorism are two contradictory words. Even people in Pakistan haven't dared so far to make any reference about Hindu Terrorism', but leaders in our own country are coining new terms every other moment, talking about saffron terrorism' and more recently majority terrorism," he added.
